Offering a Variety of Specialty Services for Your Pet

At Magnolia Animal Clinic, our facility offers a realm of specialty services for dogs, cats and exotic animals. We have two doctors (rotating) that pay personal attention to your furry friend. If you feel more comfortable with a certain doctor, then you can continue to bring your furry friend to that particular doctor.

Our facility does accept insurance plans and will help you fill out the paperwork. However, you are responsible for payment before the insurance company reimburses Magnolia Animal Clinic. Call us at 502-633-3512 to schedule an appointment or to find out more about our specialty services.

Specialty Services Include:

  • Dental - Bacteria on your pet's teeth leads to plaque and tartar buildup and can cause dental disease. At Magnolia Animal Clinic, we have a new Dentalaire Prestige machine that can help with your furry friend's dental health.
  • Blood transfusions - Whether your pet needs an emergency transfusion or is undergoing chemotherapy or recently had surgery, our transfusion service allows us to provide blood and blood products. All blood is carefully screened for safety and is administered by our professional staff.
  • Microchipping - Your pet needs a simple form of identification that's reliable and won't get lost. A microchip is unique and carries unique information about your pet. Young puppies, kittens and adult pets can get microchips. A toll-free phone call to the pet recovery database alerts the microchip company that a lost pet has been identified. The pet owner is then contacted and can be reunited with his or her pet! Microchipping is safe and an effective way to ensure your pet’s return if the unthinkable happens.
  • Radiology - A valuable diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine is radiology (x-ray). It’s painless, safe and completely non-invasive. It helps evaluate bones, organs and tumors. Radiographs help us correctly diagnose issues with your pet. Let our radiology skilled professionals provide state-of-the-art care for your furry friend.
  • Hospice - If your pet has a medical condition that is painful or causing poor quality of life, Magnolia Animal Clinic can help you through this painful experience with our hospice services. We’ll ensure your pet’s comfort and dignity during the final days or moments. Our hospice and humane euthanasia services are conducted with respect, compassion and care.
  • Behavioral medicine - Pets can have a wide variety of behavioral issues, from simple house training problems to severe anxiety and aggression issues. Let our staff address your pet’s behavioral problems so that both you and your pet can live together comfortably and safely.
  • Nutritional counseling - From the very first day you bring a new pet home through the final days of its life, nutrition plays a critical role in your pet’s overall health and well-being. Your pet's nutritional needs change with age and activity level. Whether your furry friend has special dietary needs or simply needs to shed (or gain) a few pounds, our nutritional counseling services can help. Come to us for counseling in dietary selection and feeding practices for pets during various life stages, such as growth, pregnancy, nursing and the “golden years.”
  • Ultrasounds - Use ultrasound technology for finding blockages and tumors in animals. Call us to learn more.

"Magnolia Animal Clinic and Dr. Lee have been a Godsend for my pup, Chance, and I. He had surgery at another local vet and they did an awful job. He was left in pretty bad shape after his surgery and I was a wreck too. From the time I called to the time we left, the staff has been incredible. Alex, at the reception desk, is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met and the tech that came in before Dr. Lee was amazing as well. She kindly sat with me and went over all of my boy's records, explaining everything in terms that even my 10 year old niece could understand. Lastly, Dr. Lee came in like Super Man and saved the day. He calmed both Chance and I, did a complete examination of him, laid out a clear and concise treatment plan, and promised that we would all get through this together. We were very spoiled with our vet up north before moving here in July and now we're incredibly thankful to have found a vet that measures up. I only wish we had found Dr. Lee before my baby had to suffer. I can't express how thankful we are to have you all so close to home."
